My-Wardrobe Shutters, Sells Domain to Net-a-Porter

It’s been a rough road for e-tailer My-Wardrobe, but its suffering has come to an end. It has sold its domain name to Net-a-Porter, and if you try to visit the old site, it will redirect you to a Net-a-Porter group page. “We are sorry to inform you that My-Wardrobe.com is no longer trading,” the site reads. “We thank you for your loyal custom and we are pleased to introduce you to the Net-a-Porter group – the destination for luxury fashion and style online.”

For those of you just finding out about the switch, you’re out of luck because for the past few weeks My-Wardrobe has been having the wildest sale ever with prices up to 70 percent off. The site is shutting down after eight years in business and according to the Telegraph, things took a sour turn for the once-successful destination once investors swooped in July 2012 with extra cash for the business. The financial woes started once the money disappeared that November.

My-Wardrobe, we hate to see ya go!
