Bradley Cooper Takes It All Off for W Magazine

Bradley Cooper, is that you? The Oscar-nominated actor stripped down to his skivvies to grace the cover of W magazine’s January movie issue, which profiles the best performances in 2015 with the help of 39 actors. Cooper is one of seven celebrities who secured a cover, including Reese Witherspoon, Emma Stone, Amy Adams, Shailene Woodley, Julianne Moore and Benedict Cumberbatch, who shares the spotlight with Keira Knightley.

The W shoot is not exactly what you’d expect from the guy who made his claim to fame with machismo flicks like The Hangover. Nor is it what you’d expect from a classic leading man promoting his upcoming military drama, American Sniper, directed by Clint Eastwood. And that’s exactly why we like it.

Instead of oiling up and flexing his you-know-what, the 40 year old coyly bares it all for photographer Tim Walker like a feminized Charlie Chaplin in a 90s vampire flick. Is it a little weird? Perhaps. Does it push the boundaries of hetero-normative gender roles? You betcha. We’d like to see more where that came from, don’t you?
