Is Marco Zanini Headed to Emilio Pucci?

If rumors are to be believed, Marco Zanini may not be out of a job for much longer. The designer recently left his post as creative director at the revived house of Schiaparelli, after a rather brief stint at the label. But a possible opening at Emilio Pucci could have Mr. Zanini gainfully employed pretty soon. WWD reports that the designer could be a possible successor once Peter Dundas exits the label. Rumors are swirling that Dundas is on his way out and may be headed for Roberto Cavalli.

For now, these are just rumors as Zanini told WWD that he and Pucci aren’t in talks. We’re guessing the involved parties will want to keep everything on the low, at least until the time of Dundas’ rumored departure. Either way, it will be interesting to see who replaces Dundas should he leave the label.
