Oprah Is Auctioning off Her Old Favorite Things – and You Probably Still Can’t Afford Them

You might not be a billionaire, but now you can get a taste of what it’s like to be one – that is, of course, if you have the money to spend. Oprah is putting all her expensive knickknacks from her Water Tower Place condo in Chicago (which she put up for sale and then took off the market in October) and has enlisted the help of Leslie Hindman Auctioneers to help.

On April 25, you’ll be able to bid on over 500 items from Oprah’s stash, with proceeds benefiting the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation. Among the items up for sale are paintings by Hovsep Pushman, porcelain vases, a gilded Austrian clock, and a Jorg and Olif bicycle.

Now whether or not pastoral oil paintings and golden Rococo furniture is your thing, understand these are pictures, chairs and tables that Queen Oprah may or may not have used and that fact alone makes each of the items priceless. So bid away, folks, because Oprah’s got to fill her condo with some new pricey junk and she can’t do that unless you take all this stuff off her hands.
