Rachel Rutt and Emma Balfour Front SABA’s 50th Anniversary Campaign

Milestone anniversaries don’t roll around that often. That’s why this year is a special one for home-grown label SABA, with May 2015 marking its 50th year in the fashion industry. To kick off celebrations, SABA has unveiled a sleek black-and-white winter campaign featuring some very well-known Aussie talent, like models Emma Balfour and Rachel Rutt, sculptor Dion Horstmans, furniture designer Henry Wilson, film director Lorin Askill, and director and theatrical actress Robyn Nevin.

With an unfaltering reputation for immaculate quality and original design, SABA was careful to choose ambassadors who embody what the label is about. Rather than just picking models to stand there and look pretty, SABA acknowledges that Rachel and Emma’s talents span far beyond their polished poses. Rachel is, surprisingly, an experimental musician, having collaborated with Ryan Grieve of Canyons DJs, while Emma is a one-woman wonder juggling her modelling career, children and her talent for poetry.

SABA’s winter 2015 collection is also set to impress, with beautifully tailored garments and stunning cashmere knits exuding pure monochromatic elegance. The seasonal campaign is just the start of a whole range of anniversary celebrations which will take place throughout the year, so be sure to stay tuned.
