Pharrell Williams and Adidas have unveiled the latest from their ongoing collaboration and this time Williams is looking to one of Kanye West’s favorite cities to inform his designs. Williams’ fourth collection for the brand is said to be inspired by a visit to the Marché Saint-Pierre by Montmartre’s Sacré-Coeur church in Paris. For the collection, Williams designed two floral unisex jackets (in beige and blue colorways) and Stan Smiths boasting the same print. The patterns on the pieces look like embroidered tapestry, with dusty pink blooms punctuated by the curling fingers of leaves.
According to WWD, there will be only 200 jackets available for $854 while the updated Stan Smiths will go for $205. The collection is due to hit shelves May 30 – a few days before Williams will take the stage at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall to collect his CFDA Fashion Icon award. We wonder if he will be wearing any Adidas to the affair…
