Music to Our Ears: Didier Cohen Signs ‘Major’ Record Deal

Here’s a bit of good news for those mourning the loss of Didier Cohen from our TV screens each week, following the finale of the latest cycle of Australia’s Next Top Model. The bronzed babe is already famous for his smouldering good looks and weekly support to wannabe models on television, and now the male model is getting serious about his job as a musician.

Looking smokin’ as usual, the 30-year-old personality beamed with confidence at the premiere of Paper Towns in Sydney on July 5, where he opened up about the next project on his agenda. He excitedly told Daily Mail Australia that he’s finally been signed to a major music label. “I’ve been in the studio for two years,” Didier said. “I just signed with a record deal, a major deal which’ll be announced this week.”

When asked if he had received any sound advice from fellow muso and ANTM mentor Cheyenne Tozzi of Van Hoorn fame, he dropped a truth bomb saying, “I’ve actually worked with Cheyenne on music. There’s a song done, we’ll see if it comes out.”

We. Can’t. Even.

We wait with anticipation for Didier’s first single, “Skyline”, which will drop this August. We can’t wait to hear what direction he’s going to take his musical career. If it’s anything like his modelling portfolio, we’ll have some scorching beats to look forward to.
