Lisa Hyde’s The Bachelor S3, Ep 5 Low-Down: ‘I Think You’re the Keen One, Buddy!’

TAKE. THEM. DOWN!

Another super-competitive night on The Bachelor, although it is expected because they are all dating the same man. I can’t remember the girls from my season being this contentious, though.

Smiley aka Nina gets the single date and I couldn’t be more happy for her as she hasn’t been on a date yet. She seems completely down to earth and super lovely, and it’s totally clear Nina is here for all the right reasons.

Now, this is awesome. Nina agrees to attempt a new world record for the longest on-screen kiss. Sam has a big grin on his face, because, well, this is Sam Wood we’re talking about, and on the sly tells us, “She’s Keen.” Did he forget that he organised this date? I think you’re the keen one, buddy!

Helllooo pash rash. They absolutely smash it. Nina is awesome!

My favourite part of this whole date was seeing Heather’s face when Nina spills the beans and confesses to the ladies how amazing Sam is at kissing!

OK, moving on to the group date and the card reads, “Let’s kick off with some bubbles.” Immediately the ladies are thinking spa retreat.

This is hilarious because I remember every date card we received on Season 2, we prayed for some sort of pampering! Lets just say, it doesn’t happen, ever! But they do get bubble soccer, which, honestly, looks like so much fun.

“Take them down!”

I personally wanted “The Golden Girls” to win, mainly because I’m not sure how Sam would of handled having both Snezana and Heather on the same date!

Well, the green team have it and it looks like the ladies are well over Sandra’s loudness, and I cant help but think the rest of Australia is too.

Sandra gets some one-on-one time with Sam and finally gets a chance to shine. Let’s just say, I’m not exactly sure where she was going with the conversation, and she really wasn’t shining.

Cocktail party time and it looks like the ladies have chosen a lace and floral theme tonight, but Heather tells us it’s a competition of who can do sexy best! We get it, Heather, Sam sees you as more than just a friend.

One thing i did notice tonight, that may get Sam in a little more trouble then he expected, is the mixed messages he is sending out. I’m not sure if this is his way of playing the game, but he needs to continue to respect the ladies and be honest with them.

It’s obvious Emily and Heather have different personalities and do not get along, but he seems to be telling both the ladies what they want to hear. Oh, Sam, I do feel for you. Lets just hope you know what you are doing.

Tonight we say goodbye to Sandra, but I’ve already forgotten because the preview for tomorrow night looks so amazing!
