Exclusive: JETS Launches Activewear

JETS has already made quite its mark in the swimwear department with sleek yet wearable swimsuits, and now the Aussie label is leaping into activewear with the same sharp-shooting and luxe aesthetic in mind.

For JETS design director, Jessika Allen, the choice to expand was an easy one. “The decision to enter the activewear category was a natural progression for JETS as a premium luxury swim and resort wear brand,” she explains.

Making its foray with the JETS Active Collection 2015, the range is inspired by the same strength and calculative design which has seen the label excel in the swimwear category. Compression technologies, quick-dry properties, breathability, excellent control and moisture management all strong components of the new activewear line.

“Our success over the past 15 years has come from understanding what women want in their swimwear, to feel beautiful and confident, which has allowed me to design with fit, form and fashion at the forefront,” Jessika explains.

“JETS Active is an extension of this and speaks directly to the activewear-to-streetwear arena, a collection that is true to JETS form with a commitment to fabrics and function. Women want to look good while working out but if the garment does not perform or support her, the style doesn’t matter.”

Featuring JETS-favourite Hannah Saul and up-and-comer Melinda Kemp, the campaign shows off the streetwear-inspired looks with a punch of ahtletica-luxe against an industrial green backdrop.

JETS Active is suitable for everyone from the paddle boarders to the runners and yoga enthusiasts, celebrating the active and healthy lifestyle with five stories featuring sportswear, streetwear-inspired looks, swimwear, reversible garments and high-tech details which are sure to bring you a winning streak.
