Zara Opening New Doors in Brisbane

Spanish retailer Zara is continuing its expansion in Australia, confirming that it will be opening a new store in Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall.

Ragtrader reports that this will mark Zara’s second store in Queensland, after the retail space opened in Robina Town Centre last year. This will be Zara’s 13th Australian store; not bad considering the chain only arrived down under in 2011.

The news is a result of recent figures released by Zara’s parent company, Inditex, revealing a 16 per cent increase in sales for the year up to September 10.

The Queen Street Mall’s store opening date is yet to be released by the company.
