Fans hoping to relive that epic moment when Rihanna hit the Victoria’s Secret runway in 2012 will be disappointed this year. The popstar pulled out of the lineup just days before taping, reportedly to work on her upcoming album.
Despite the shakeup, there will be no shortage of entertainment at this year’s show. Ellie Goulding will join previously announced performers Selena Gomez and The Weeknd, Gigi Hadid will walk in the show for the first time ever and Lily Aldridge is slated to wear the $2 million fantasy bra.

As for Rihanna, her fans will gladly sacrifice her Victoria’s Secret performance for the chance to get #R8 sooner. Fingers crossed for a holiday release.
