As the most valuable celebrity ambassador of 2015, Kendall Jenner is raking in big bucks for sponsored posts. According to former casting director Frank Spadafora, Kendall (and BFFs Cara Delevingne and Gigi Hadid) can make up to $300,000 for a single post. “The three most highly ranked supers on social — Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevigne, and Gigi Hadid, in descending order — are currently valued between $125,000 and $300,000 for a single post across their portfolio,” the D’Marie Archive CEO told CR Fashion Book. Mouth, meet floor.
Models with less than 10 million followers are making a killing, too. “The next tier — very familiar faces like Karlie Kloss, Behati Prinsloo and Miranda Kerr — can command between $25,000 to $50,000 for a single post across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram,” he explained. Brands are even requesting models with a significant following on social media. Jennifer Powell of Next Models revealed, “Casting directors will ask for models with over ‘X’ amount of followers, and then will ask for the specs of the talent after that.”
It’s common knowledge that bloggers monetize their social media presence, so it stands to reason that models would do the same. But most bloggers are making nowhere near the amount Kendall, Cara and Gigi command for social posts. Imagine making six figures for a single Instagram selfie. Career change, anyone?
