Watch: Sophia Loren Remodels an Italian Villa (Glamorously) in New Dolce & Gabbana Fragrance Campaign

Who knew remodeling could be such a glamorous affair? An impeccably dressed Sophia Loren gets to work transforming a Sicilian villa for the latest Dolce & Gabbana ad.

Directed by Giuseppe Tornatore and composed by Ennio Morricone, the 15-second clip finds a mother (Loren) directing her five sons as they remodel Villa Valgaurnera, the ancient family home. Mom gets her hands dirty too, even sawing off tree branches and plastering the walls.

That doesn’t mean she sacrifices style, of course. The screen legend arrives in a polka dot shirt dress with a buckled bag and changes into a perennially chic white blouse and black trousers. Her soft brunette curls stay perfectly coiffed throughout.

Dubbed “Rinascita (rebirth),” the video is the first of a three-part series promoting the Dolce Rosa Excelsa fragrance. The following clips are named “Festa” (party) and “Meravigliosa” (wonderful), and will debut next week. We can’t find the product connection (maybe Loren smells amazing even as she does hard labor?) but the familial theme does harken back to the brand’s Fall 2015 show featuring mothers and babies.

And we honestly don’t need a reason to see Sophia Loren being the glamorous 81-year-old muse she is. Watch the video above.
