Tess Holliday Responds to Criticism That Her Pregnancy Is Unhealthy: “We ALL Deserve to Be Treated With Dignity”

Post workout stretches w/ my amazing trainer @mackfit I stay active for me, & only me. It’s not about proving anything or trying to lose weight, it’s about what makes ME happy! Our society is so engrained to think that all bodies (especially bigger ones) shouldn’t be respected & appreciated, it’s heartbreaking. We ALL deserve to be treated with dignity regardless of our size, gender, race, sexual orientation, abilities, etc., & should demand that of those around us. When people criticize or belittle us it says more about them than us, remember that, Don’t let anyone dull your shine or underestimate what you are capable of #FUCKyourbeautystandards #mackfit #25weekspregnant #honormycurves #hogwarts

Tess Holliday is no stranger to criticism about her body size. But detractors have recently taken issue with her pregnancy. Australian fitness blogger Ashy Bines chastised Holliday on social media, claiming her health can put her unborn baby at risk. “Now that you are pregnant also, the risk of birth complications and providing your baby with the nutrients that it needs to have the best start in life, I just don’t think you’re doing a very good job and you’re putting this out to your 1.1 million followers,” Bines said. She also posted an image of Holliday next to an excessively thin model, writing in the caption that they are both negative role models.

Since New York Fashion Week ended, we’ve examined every facet of the 10-day marathon from fall fashion trends to runway diversity. Now, a new study by First Insight Inc. looks at which New York-based brands resonated most with consumers.

The company surveyed 3,600 consumers about 16 designers and 294 styles to discover the top four brands. Elie Tahari emerged as the favorite brand among respondents aged 19-44. Participants over age 45 preferred Carolina Herrera

While Carolina Herrera may have been popular among respondents over 45, the collection wasn’t so well-received in our forums. “Wow, this could be her first collection that I dislike,” Koibito confessed. Liberty33r1b echoed that sentiment, saying, “I love it, but it lacks something…”

Maria Borges Steals the Spotlight From Anna Ewers on This Self Service Cover (Forum Buzz)

Ever since Anna Ewers made her debut on the fashion scene, our forums have pretty much been #TeamEwers, adoring each and every one of her many Vogue covers. Therefore, we were thrilled to see the German bombshell gracing the cover of Self Service‘s Spring/Summer 2016 edition. But when the biannual magazine throws Angolan model Maria Borges into the mix, we’re suddenly left with the dilemma of choosing a favorite cover. Anna was shot looking all dolled up by Self Service regular Ezra Petronio, while Maria served up a visually stimulating black and white cover shot before the lens of Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

Kim Kardashian is all over the news for being naked on the internet again. And, as ever, her unclad body is being met with plenty of opinions.

When she posted a naked selfie on Instagram and Twitter on Monday with the caption, “When you’re like I have nothing to wear LOL” haters and lovers in (sort of) equal measure were quick to wade in with comments that were appreciative, disparaging and everything in between.
