Karlie Kloss had quite the eventful year. She covered Vogue with bestie Taylor Swift, retired her Victoria’s Secret Angel wings, had an epic dance battle with Les Twins, announced a coding scholarship for girls and launched a YouTube channel. And that’s just the beginning.
The supermodel recapped her “epic” 2015 with an emotional video. She takes us through her myriad magazine covers and campaigns but also her trips with family, a baking sesh with Martha Stewart and an appearance at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner as a guest of Katie Couric.
As Kloss explains, “This year has been all about trying new things.” The ‘new thing’ that brought her to tears? The moment she realized she got accepted into NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. “I just found out I got in. I’m on set today and I’m literally crying because I’m so happy. I’m so happy.”
And there’s that one time Kloss starred in Taylor Swift’s music video and took the stage for her “1989” tour. Our 9 most-liked photos on Instagram just don’t measure up. We’re looking forward to Kloss’ 2016 adventures, especially if they involve more brilliant beauty tutorials like this one. Watch her recap video above.
