Bella Hadid Manages to Outshine Naomi Campbell on Allure’s 25th Anniversary Covers (Forum Buzz)

Her sister is on newsstands left, right and center, so it was inevitable that a magazine was going to jump on featuring Bella Hadid. Amid the staff changes, beauty bible Allure has been delivering terrific covers issue after issue (aside from last month’s cover). As the publication celebrates its 25th anniversary with the March 2016 edition, Allure serves up two covers for us to deliberate over. Joining Bella is modeling legend Naomi Campbell and the duo both look fantastic before the lens of legendary fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

But one cover, in particular, took the spotlight. “I think Bella looks really pretty here. Naomi looks good, too, except for her hair looks really fake,” explained justaguy.

Also pointing out Naomi’s hair was dodencebt: “I don’t know if I dislike Naomi’s bad wig or Bella’s greasy hair more.” (more…)

Taylor Swift’s Squad Responds to Kanye West’s Offensive Lyrics and Twitter Rant

Britt Awards!!! @TaylorSwift @samsmithworld

A photo posted by Kim Kardashian West (@kimkardashian) on

There were plenty of noteworthy moments at Yeezy Season 3 but there’s one in particular that stood out in everyone’s minds. With The Life of Pablo blasting in the background of his fashion show, the world first heard Kanye’s new song referencing Taylor Swift.

On the song Famous, Kanye raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that bitch famous.” WHAT. As if Kanye didn’t offend Taylor enough when he intercepted her award (an act he later apologized for profusely), he’s back at it again with a round of demeaning and misogynistic lyrics. (more…)

She’s currently the face of Balenciaga alongside Anna Ewers and now we welcome Zoe Kravitz with open arms as Teen Vogue‘s latest cover girl. Lately, our forums have been giving major kudos to the magazine for giving us our monthly dose of diversity and for March 2016, we couldn’t be more accepting of the mag’s efforts. The American actress photographed beautifully wearing Alexander Wang before the lens of Josh Olins. Complete with minimal makeup and zero signs of Photoshop, what more could we ask for?

Want a Better Sex Life? Play Some Music

Courtesy: @Rihanna

Unlucky in love? Log off Tinder and start adding music to your iTunes library. A recent study conducted by smart speaker manufacturer Sonos, Apple Music and neuroscientist Daniel Levitin revealed that music can actually improve your sex life. Not only is there a connection between sexual attraction and musical taste, but we have more sex when we’re listening to our favorite tunes.

Sonos surveyed 30,000 listeners and conducted an in-home experiment where 30 households spent one week without music and one week listening to music out loud. They discovered that with music playing, the distance between household members decreased by 12%, they spent 4.5 more hours together and they were 18% more likely to say “I love you” to one another.

Couples experienced more intimacy too, reporting 37% more awake time in bed doing you-know-what (we’re guessing Zayn Malik’s new song was playing in the background). And if you date someone with similar musical tastes, the physical attraction is even higher. Nearly 59% of listeners said they’re more attracted to people who play music they enjoy.

Guys, in case you were wondering, playing Rihanna is a great way to win points this Valentine’s Day. You’re welcome.

Edie Campbell Is Sorely Miscast in Roberto Cavalli’s Spring Campaign (Forum Buzz)

Back in August 2015, we were anticipating Peter Dundas‘ debut collection for Roberto Cavalli, which ultimately received shocking reviews from our forum members and now the advertising campaign for Spring 2016 doesn’t seem to hold much promise, either. Going against the stereotypical Cavalli woman, Dundas cast Brit beauty Edie Campbell as the face of the iconic Italian label and enlisted the photographic expertise of Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The duo shot the model both on location and in the studio for a contrasting set of images, but the idea has fallen completely flat.

“When I think about Roberto Cavalli, the words ‘sex appeal’ come to mind. Why choose Edie who has zero sex appeal? Wow…just sad to see this brand in a lost stage!!” exclaimed a horrified congacon straight away.

Also in a state of shock over the casting was DutchHomme: “How this boring model with a bland face and without facial expressions is scoring so many covers and campaigns…is just unbelievable. Good for her but I don’t get it. ZERO life in her eyes, no energy. She always looks like she needs a good nap.” (more…)

Watch: Chloë Sevigny, Nick Jonas and More Dramatically Recite Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”

In case you’ve been out of the popular culture loop as of late, the new celeb trend is to reimagine chart-toppers as dramatic readings, the latest being Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”.

Inspired by W Magazine‘s spin on Drake’s “Hotline Bling”, Vanity Fair rounded up 29 celebs at Sundance to recite the lyrics of Biebs’ banger of a tune, with the likes of John Legend, Chelsea Handler, Maya Rudolph, Kate Beckinsale and more telling the camera that they’re missing “more than just your body”.

While they don’t really attempt to channel the 21-year-old Canadian, they totally succeed at emphasising how fab these lyrics are, without a hoard of Adidas-clad dancers in the background. They even let out “oh-oh” and “yeah” once or twice. And by once or twice, I mean maybe a couple of hundred times.

Watch the hilarious video for yourself above.
