JINsoon and Goop Release Two Limited-Edition Nail Polish Sets

Famed nail polish brand JINsoon has teamed up with Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop for two limited-edition sets of nail polish. “For me, Goop has always represented the best of living and style, integrating simple luxuries into everyday life, which is synergetic with the JINsoon philosophy,” said owner and nail artist Jin Soon Choi about the collaboration.

The Classics 1 and Classics 2 sets each contain three “staple nail lacquers designed to add an elegant touch to fingertips.” Classics 1 is made up of Demure, a pale pink that is new to the JINsoon collection, Dul-cet, a toffee beige that is also being debuted, and a black-red shade by the name of Risque. Classics 2 has one newcomer, Vanity, a hot red lacquer, and also features Coquette, a classic red, and Audacity, a deep burgundy color.

The collection will have a limited-edition run and retail for $48 per set on Goop starting today.

Now You Can Spend the Night at Downton Abbey

Ever wanted to experience just a taste of what life at Downton Abbey would be like, but don’t have a time machine to go back to the 20s? Well, now you have your chance. The owners of the now-famous Highclere Castle (which we all know as Downton), will let you stay overnight on the famed property. According to the Telegraph, the owners have opened a guest house, dubbed the London Lodge, which isn’t quite in the castle — it’s in two restored buildings on the estate, big enough for two people each.

The spot is basically perfect for a Downton-themed lovers’ getaway in cute cottages with a sophisticated, rustic feel. But if you are interested, you may want to plan for your trip sooner rather than later. The spot is already booked with guests through the spring, but there will be openings for summer and fall visits since the lodge is already so popular.

So no, there will be no late night visits from Lady Mary, and Mr. Carson may not come check on you to see when you’re ready for your morning coffee in bed, but at the very least, you can dress up in flapper dresses and take some seriously cool Instagram pictures to make all your friends jealous that you’re having the best weekend ever.

Dov Charney Talks American Apparel Dismissal

Now that Dov Charney is officially out at American Apparel, folks are starting to wonder what’s next for the troubled CEO. The former boss has come forward with a statement on his dismissal and in it, he seems to indicate no intention of completely cutting off his relationship with the brand. “I’m proud of what I created at American Apparel and am confident that, as its largest shareholder, I will have a strong relationship with the company in the years ahead,” he said. “Naturally, I am disappointed with the circumstances and my over 25 years of deep passion and commitment for American Apparel will always be the core DNA of the company.”

WWD speculates that his departure will probably lead to a few court battles, though as of yet, there is no indication that Charney will take legal action against his former company.

Whatever he plans to do in light of the news, one thing is for sure: Charney will likely never again hold the kind of power he used to at American Apparel.

Watch: Lindsay Lohan Shakes It for LOVE’s Advent Calendar

We think day 17 of LOVE‘s advent calendar has to be the most glorious. Previous days have provided us with dance numbers from the likes of Kendall and Kris Jenner, Hailey Baldwin and Suki Waterhouse, but we think today’s installation has got to be our favorite. Lindsay Lohan was tapped to do a little jig for director Liz Collins.

We watch Lindsay shaking her stuff in nary but a bra, a cozy-looking cardigan and tube socks, before giving us a little military-inspired tease in a button-festooned jacket (with nothing underneath), black trousers and pumps. It’s a glimpse at the old school Lindsay we miss so much, and we are so grateful to Katie Grand for bringing one of our tabloid faves to our holiday festivities.

Merry Christmas, y’all!

Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott Return to Shoot La Perla’s Spring 2015 Campaign (Forum Buzz)

Luxury Italian lingerie brand La Perla released its new Spring 2015 ad campaign this week and repeated the same concept from Fall 2014. If it ain’t broke, why fix it, right? La Perla kept Turkish photographic duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott to shoot the campaign, but for this season, switched up the casting. Goodbye to Mariacarla Boscono, Daria Strokous and Liu Wen and ciao to Sigrid Agren, Izabel Goulart and Ming Xi.

La Perla Spring 2015 Mert & Marcus

Are our forum members impressed with La Perla’s new campaign? “Gorgeous! I love how La Perla [has] been using models who wouldn’t normally be associated with lingerie. The results have been amazing,” raved orchidee.

“She looks beautiful!! All these La Perla campaigns are very similar but I would say this is my favorite one. It’s less retouched than the previous ones and has more natural lighting,” complimented Spicarru.

Nymphaea was also enthused about the campaign and wrote, “It’s so sophisticated, love!”

But not everyone’s so thrilled. “Same concept is boring!!!” complained testinofan.

“The cast is awful. From three beauties last season to three mediocre models this season,” added anlabe32, who clearly wasn’t a fan of the casting.

Check out the rest of the campaign inside the thread and tell us what you think here.
