Irina Shayk Scores Her Fifth Vogue Cover of 2018, Fronting Vogue Turkey’s October Issue

Our forums are notoriously hard on Vogue Turkey (and most of the time it’s for good reason) but the magazine has been making an effort to win us over in 2018. It gave Hailey Baldwin her very first Vogue cover back in March, made forum favorite Sasha Pivovarova a cover girl in April and produced one of its strongest covers to date with Dua Lipa for May. On the flip side, Turkish Vogue’s 100th issue celebrations totally bombed with a dismal Kendall Jenner cover and the title somehow managed to make Cindy Crawford look awkward in July. It’s now Irina Shayk’s turn to star on the magazine’s front cover, bundled up in a look from Balenciaga’s Fall 2018 collection, looking melancholic for photographer Cuneyt Akeroglu.

The cover received mixed feedback from our forum members. “Boring,” described dontbeadrag upon seeing the cover.

Get Ready for a New Ava Nirui and Marc Jacobs Collaboration

Ava Nirui has made a name for herself in the fashion world through an unconventional method, by bootlegging high fashion brands. However, Nirui does not simply sell fakes, but redesigns their logos to match her own style of fashionable streetwear and twisting it with a sense of humor and playfulness. The designer has caught the attention of numerous high-end brands and celebrities, such as Nike and Chance the Rapper. In 2017, Nirui collaborated with Marc Jacobs on an embroidered “Mark Jacobes” hoodie.

Nirui has just revealed on her Instagram another upcoming collaboration with Marc Jacobs, set for November 1. Nothing else has been said about the collaboration, but based on the teaser, it involves fluorescent yellow hoodies. We can’t wait to see what the duo has cooked up for us this time!

Maartje Verhoef Gives British Harper’s Bazaar a Stunning Cover for November

After a glamorous Cate Blanchett offering last month, British Harper’s Bazaar’s November 2018 cover belongs to model Maartje Verhoef. To celebrate the exhibition of artist Yves Klein, the Dutch beauty is captured on location around the 18th-century baroque magnificence of Blenheim Palace, photographed by Josh Shinner and styled by Charlie Harrington. In the special subscribers cover (below), Maartje poses under bright blue skies, which takes inspiration from Klein’s vibrant works, while in the newsstand alternative (after the jump), she is shot amongst the palace’s ornate surroundings. making for an unconventional cover for the magazine.

One cover, in particular, was a clear winner with our forum members. “Ooooh that looks lovely!” sighed a delighted mikel the second the cover (above) came to light.

Chrissy Teigen Drops a New Capsule Collection for Revolve

There’s nothing stopping Chrissy Teigen from being all that. She’s known for her wit and penchant for calling out politicians on social media, she’s a mother of two, she’s also a chef with her own cookbook and Target collaboration, and now, Teigen has released yet another capsule collection for Revolve.

Teigen’s first collection for Revolve featured sexy garments, like bralettes, deep V-neck jumpsuits, lacy dresses and bodysuits. Her second collection, available now, includes holiday-worthy jackets, dresses, sweaters and more, mostly in red, black and winter white.

“This collection was mostly inspired by working women who are always on the go and want to use all the pieces in their closet,” Teigen told Bustle. “I really wanted easy, chic pieces that you can effortlessly throw on. I wanted to embody that easy, careless vibe without feeling like you have to try so hard! I want [moms] to not have to sacrifice their personal style just because they have less time to get ready or to buy clothes.” That’s why it was a priority of hers to “make a collection that’s easy to just throw on and easy to mix and match.”

Halima Aden Outshines Florence Welch and Yara Shahidi on UK ELLE’s November Covers

For over a year now, editor-in-chief Anne-Marie Curtis has been doing her best to overhaul ELLE UK, giving us a (sometimes questionable) redesign and some superb covers featuring Rihanna, Daisy Ridley and Winne Harlow along the way. You might remember last year’s series of “Wonder Women” covers starring Ashley Graham, Susan Sarandon, Alek Wek and Beth Ditto…while this year goes to Halima Aden, Florence Welch and Yara Shahidi, each shot by different photographers for a trio of November 2018 covers for us to choose from.

As per usual with multi-covers, there’s always one that stands out from the rest, and our forum members didn’t waste any time choosing their favorites. “Well gotta say that Halima cover is just gorgeous, easily the best one posted so far, and her best cover ever!” said Miss Dalloway.

“Wow definitely Halima’s best cover I’ve ever seen. It’s nice to see this gorgeous photo of her embracing her diversity but not making it the main focal point of the photo. She’s beautiful! Love it,” added RMDV.
