Emma Watson Talks Style; Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are Over

Emma Watson Marie ClaireRecent news that Emma Watson was taking leave from Brown University, because juggling her professional commitments with her academic career was becoming "a little too impossible," came on the heels of her eco-friendly fashion collaboration with Alberta Ferretti, All Pure Threads. Because she's celebrated for her style (this year Watson was named "Style Icon of the Year" at the Elle Awards) her move towards fashion hasn't been met with the same scorn typically reserved for the celeb-turned-designer. In a recent interview, Watson spoke about what drew her to fashion: "I love having control. My job as an actress is to bring to life another person’s vision, but with clothes, I can express my own creativity. And I wanted to be able to buy fashion knowing it’s not harming the person who made it or the environment." [GirlsTalkinSmack]

Following in the footsteps of her 30 Rock co-star, Tina Fey, the marvelous Julianne Moore will try her hand at playing Sarah Palin. HBO Films announced that Moore was cast as the former Alaska governor and Vice Presidential candidate for the upcoming film, Game Change, a story of the 2008 presidential campaign based on a book by the same name, by journalists John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. HBO hasn't announced who they're casting as Moore's co-stars, but may I suggest that (despite the negligible age discrepancy) James Franco would make a great John Edwards. [DailyStab]

Um, Lady Gaga's suing the makers of "Baby Gaga" breast milk ice cream. First: why? ew! so gross. Second: Sorry Gaga, but you're out of line. "Gaga" is a common word, and you should avoid making any attempts to copyright the English language before I stop mocking you, and start hating you. [RightCelebrity]
