This young Irish actress is steadily making a name for herself both on the big screen and on the red carpet. She received an Oscar nomination for her performance in Atonement at the tender age of 13 and starred as an assassin in the thriller, Hanna. Saoirse is set to appear in several upcoming movies including the film adaptation of Twilight creator Stephenie Meyer's novel, The Host. Vogue even thought enough of the 17-year-old to feature her in a spread in its December issue.

Back in December 2009 at the Los Angeles premiere of The Lovely Bones, Saoirse was still finding her fashion footing, though. Her bronze satin Zac Posen gown was quite sophisticated, but those lace-up booties were a questionable footwear choice. A few months later at the Orange British Academy Film Awards, she looked elegant and age appropriate in this white ruffled custom Burberry silk dress. Burberry was also behind her jewelry and shoes.

Miu Miu’s tiered lace frock from the brand’s Pre-Fall 2010 collection was her wardrobe for the London premiere of The Way Back last December. She teamed the dress with black tights and black pumps. She opted for a far more dramatic look when it came time for the Irish Film & Television Awards in February. This John Rocha Spring 2011 ensemble consisted of a black sheer blouse and matching laser-cut maxi.

Saoirse looked sensational in a metallic polka dot Chanel Pre-Fall 2011 halter dress featuring an embellished neckline and belt at the New York City premiere of Hanna in April. She polished off the look with Jimmy Choo metallic sandals. For this year's Met Gala, Saoirse stood out in a red Rodarte Fall 2011 look. The sequins on the skirt were amplified by those silver Tabitha Simmons Dixie lizard and glitter-finish pumps as well as her sparkling Jack Vartanian earrings and Neil Lane bracelet.

It was a playful Topshop number for the 2011 Coca-Cola Cinemagic International Film & Television Festival for Young People in Dublin the following week. Saoirse's chevron stripe top and printed short playsuit was complemented by a semi-sheer baby blue jacket and white Miu Miu oxfords. The actress was back in Rodarte for the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Violet & Daisy in September. Her pale blue pleated silk chiffon dress came from the Spring 2008 offering and included lace paneling as well as feather shoulder accents. Nude peep-toes by Christian Louboutin rounded out the look.

This bright blue Topshop midi dress was the perfect street style piece for the star the following month in Dublin. Saoirse accessorized with a skinny belt, hefty sandals and a shoulder bag all in varying shades of brown. At the In Time London premiere at the end of October, Saoirse went with a sleek ivory cap sleeve blouse by Jenni Kayne partnered with J Brand coated skinny jeans. Black cut-out booties finished off the relaxed look.
Saoirse is definitely one rising style star to watch!
