When Harry Met Mollie

If you found yourself crying at the royal wedding last year, more for the reason that Prince William will now always be, in the words of Katy Perry, "the one that got away," today’s news is most likely going to get you reaching for your hankies once again. Prince Harry is now rumoured to be dating pop star Mollie King, from the British girl band The Saturdays, and just to rub a little bit more of that salt into your wounds, he’s also reportedly head over heels with the beauty! The pair have been spotted out and about several times over the past few weeks at some of London’s hottest night spots.

Apparently, they were first introduced back in 2010 at the Asprey World Class Cup at Surrey’s Hurtwood Polo Club, and have stayed on friendly terms ever since. At that time, Harry was still dating his long term on-off girlfriend, South African Chelsy Davy, and speculations even began circulating only last month that the pair were back together again, but obviously not. Mollie, on the other hand, was totally loved up with the gorgeous male model David Gandy, from whom she only split up with in February this year. Friends of the star admitted that she was left totally heartbroken, and the split only occurred due to David’s work commitments in America.

Mollie King Style Steal

Mollie is no stranger to gracing the likes of British style magazines such as Grazia or Look, and her style is particularly craved amongst her fans, which would probably make up a small army seeing that she represents one-fifth of Britain’s current biggest girl band. Mollie is most often pictured showing off her perfect pins in shorts, be it a tailored pair accompanied by a crisp shirt and blazer, or a more casual denim pair with a graphic tee and straw hat, which is quite a contrast to Kate Middleton’s more demure dress sense. What would the Queen say about all that leg on show? Mollie is also the girly-girl in the band, and so often opts for feminine floaty dresses.
