Double-Take #1: Adriana Lima and Joan Smalls in Givenchy
We don’t usually think of floor-length gowns as leg baring (in fact, the opposite is true), but it seems like Adriana Lima and Joan Smalls both had the same idea—“I’m a supermodel, so I might as well show off my legs”—when choosing their Givenchy gowns with sheer skirts. Lima showed off her bronzed skin in a pewter sequined version at the CFDA Awards, while Smalls’ belted look at the amfAR Gala featured floral applique and bands at the hem and cuffs. Who’s the victor in this game of peek-a-boo?
