Double-Take #2: Daisy Lowe and Kristin Davis in Dolce & Gabbana
Poor Kristin Davis, she wears this adorable tri-color Dolce & Gabbana frock to the P.S. Arts Bag Lunch benefit and only die-hard SATC fans noticed—Daisy Lowe wears it a month later to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Championship and gets on Vogue’s Best Dressed list. It obviously wasn’t the shiny brunette locks thrown over one shoulder that put the British socialite ahead (they both worked the hair fip), but it might’ve been the styling—Lowe kept the candy-striper look summery and retro with platform espadrilles, while Davis chose more understated accessories like banana cream pumps and a skinny black belt.
