With so many star clothing lines and collaborations out there, celebs often sport their own creations in a concerted marketing effort. No one is better at this style of self-promotion than Victoria Beckham. Operating once again as her own best ambassador, she stepped out last week in an all-black ensemble to celebrate the Global Fund’s Green Carpet Challenge in London. The designer’s Fall 2013 split-sleeve blazer with satin lapels was teamed with a silk top, slim trousers and black Manolo Blahnik pumps. Carey Mulligan actually got her hands on the cape-style blazer back in April for the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball in New York City. She also opted for black pumps to cap off the look, but the actress added in a little extra sparkle in the form of Tiffany & Co. jewels. Does Victoria do her own design justice or is Carey better suited for this vented jacket?
