Agyness Deyn has been dropped by luxury label Burberry for being too famous, reports say.

The 25-year-old model is said to be over-exposed for the British fashion house. An insider claims that famed photographer Mario Testino, the brand’s advertising visionary, is fed up with seeing her everywhere.

The insider was quoted by as saying, “She was just a flash in the pan. Last year she was quirky but now she is challenging Kate Moss in the fame stakes by positioning herself everywhere. That kind of popularity just hasn’t sat well with Mario, who is looking for something different.”

Deyn has recently made a pop music video, formed her own band, and has been regularly seen on the celebrity circuit.

Reports also suggest that Testino isn’t only looking for a fresh face, he wants a younger one, too. And he saw that on 21-year-old Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

The younger model reportedly has already been booked to front the autumn campaign.
