Italian fashion house Missoni announces the December 19th opening of its first U.K. stand-alone store on London’s prestigious Sloane Street. The boutique is located at 193 Sloane Street and will showcase the menswear, womenswear and homewares collections across three floors, spanning a total of 3500 sq ft.
Mr. Gasparini, CEO of Missoni, says in a press release “The UK customer has always demonstrated a great appreciation for the Missoni product and brand heritage. Consequently, we have made the somewhat brave choice to open the first Missoni UK stand-alone store in this moment, because we are certain that the beauty of our looks and the value of our manufacture go beyond each current difficulty. We are extremely excited about this addition to our store portfolio and look forward to being part of the vibrant and cosmopolitan London scene”.
Customers entering on the ground floor will be greeted with an elaborate fringed pendant lamp from the revered Missoni home collection.
This floor contains a dedicated accessories area with a round display of signature handbags as well as women’s daywear collections. Womenswear continues on the first floor with eveningwear collections as well as a VIP suite. Furnished by Missoni Home the suite allows VIP customers privacy and space to immerse themselves in the brand as well as relax in front of the plasma TV.
The product portfolio is completed on the lower ground floor with quintessential menswear collections and a range of Missoni accessories. Home pieces featured throughout the store include carpets in Wengen, Fleury, and Carousel shares and stools covered in the signature Missoni chevron; all set against walls painted in the understated Missoni white.
