FOREVER 21 FRENZY

It seems that a frenzy akin to that of the New York City Topshop opening erupted in Japan on Wednesday, April 29th when the first ever Forever 21 Japan store opened its doors in Tokyo’s Harajuku district.

Reportedly, the eager customers started lining up outside of the store at around 11:30 pm on Tuesday the 28th.  By the time the ribbon cutting ceremony took place, a crowd of about 1,500 shoppers had accumulated – most of whom were hoping that the long lines and waits would be worth the bargain prices found inside.

In addition to first dibs, those who were waiting in line for hours were given a free t-shirt and a free pair of flip flops, as well as cans of Red Bull.
