Bambi Northwood-Blyth Will Help You “Grab Life By the Balls” as Channel [V]’s New Presenter

Bambi Northwood-Blyth musn’t be busy enough as a model, designer, elevator-selfie taker and wife, because the bushy-browed model has just landed a presenting gig at Channel [V] thanks to her ball-grabbing skills.

The internationally recognised supermodel has been confirmed as part of the music program’s new team, which includes The Used frontman Bert McCracken and DJ Generik (Tyson O’Brien), to join Channel [V] regulars Danny Clayton, Carissa Walford and Marty Smiley

We’re struggling to find Bambi’s connection to music, aside from her joined-at-the-hip buddy Sneaky Sound System’s Connie Mitchell, but according to the Channel [V] website, the move is about taking the music program to “the next level”.

Foxtel’s general manager for music and head of digital, Rebecca Batties, told Campaign Brief, “At Channel [V] we are still very much about the music, however with this new direction we are tuning in to the needs of our youth audience and expanding programming to reflect and embrace their lives.” In Channel [V]’s words, “These guys are gonna be showing you how to grab life by the balls” with some new shows and “other exciting things”.

We know Bambi looks good on camera, and can probably grab many things, life included, by the balls, but we have no idea how she’ll fare as a television presenter. Until then, you can check out her modelling skills in Channel [V]’s new promo video below.
