Karl Lagerfeld Delves Into Childrenswear

Karl Lagerfeld sure loves to work. In addition to producing several collections a year for Chanel and Fendi, he’s got his own label to tend to. It’s a lot for anyone, but for the 81 year old, it’s not enough. The designer is piling yet another project onto his already full plate, announcing that he will be adding childrenswear options to his eponymous brand.

Set to launch in Spring 2016, Lagerfeld’s new range will produce two collections a year and have a rock ‘n’ roll vibe. The line will include clothing and accessories for children from 0 to 16 years old.

While there isn’t word yet on who may appear in the Lagerfeld kids’ campaign, something tells us that the designer may look to his pint-sized pal Hudson Kroenig for help when the time comes.
