Kim Kardashian on Changing Her Diet and Old Selfies in Her New Book

Between the daily barrage of Instagram photos, tweets, promos and tabloid exclusives, it might seem as if we already know what a day in the life of Kim Kardashian is like. But just so the world is 100% clear on the reality star’s day-to-day, she’s offered a rundown for Harper’s Bazaar.

It turns out, Kim is almost as boring as the rest of us. She eats. She jogs. She checks up on her kid. She sends a million text messages – the only difference between her and the rest of us is that she’s famous and many days consist of photo shoots and appearances. But one thing of note is how often she switches up her diet – and it’s a lot.

“Kanye loves to eat really healthy and is always on different diets,” she explains. “He has a chef who comes in the morning and cooks breakfast for both of us and gets our meal plans together for the day. We just started seeing a nutritionist who changes our diet every 10 days.”

That sounds like more maintenance than Gwyneth Paltrow’s $300 dollar a day diet. But when you’ve got someone cooking your meals for you, it’s probably not that hard. Kardashian also dishes a bit on her forthcoming selfie book, aptly titled Selfish, which according to her has been several years in the making – she just didn’t know it yet.

“I started taking pictures years ago, around 2006, and I kept them, all organized on my computer in folders,” she says. “We didn’t call them selfies back then. I had no idea what I was saving, just memories, really. This book is filled with so many good memories, and they all tell the story of the year when they were taken.”

Also, unlike certain Presidents of the United States, Kim doesn’t use any special tools to take her pictures. “I don’t have a selfie stick; I just take photos with my iPhone.”
