Rihanna Is Now Designing Socks for Stance

Rihanna is delving further into the world of apparel with her latest gig as contributing creative director for sock company Stance. The singer signed a three-year deal with the label to join its “Punks and Poets” series and has kicked off the partnership with two new sock styles she designed. On sale now at the Stance website are the Murder Rih Wrote socks, which feature the singer’s last name, the words “bad gal” and what looks like newspaper clippings collaged together to make a pair of socks Rihanna stans can appreciate.

The socks come in over-the-knee ($26) and your standard shin-length ($30) styles, and according to WWD, there is a limited amount of each style. If you aren’t able to get your hands on Riri’s first effort for Stance, you’ll have to wait until the fall when the rest of her designs for the label hit shelves.

“I’ve had a great relationship with Stance for a long time and ‎I am happy to be working with them on such a fun and creative project,” Rihanna said of her turn with the label. Rihanna is no stranger to design, having created collections over a few seasons with River Island and landing herself a role at Puma as women’s creative director. There are also rumors that Rihanna will be launching a line of accessories, $chool Kills.
