Maria Grazia Chiuri Calls Upon Collier Schorr to Document Christian Dior’s Pre-Fall 2024 Campaign

Maria Grazia Chiuri’s love affair with all-things female photographers continues to go stronger, with every passing advertising campaign. Since 2016, when the Italian fashion designer became Christian Dior’s first-ever female creative director, MGC has endorsed female talent like there’s no tomorrow. A whole plethora of female creatives have captured and documented Dior’s various different campaigns. Including eveyrone from Brigitte Lacombe and Paola Mattioli to Alice Mann and Brigitte Niedermair. Up next is Collier Schorr. Chiuri called upon to American photographer to shoot Dior’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection. This collection was re-unveiled to the fashion press in New York City at the Brooklyn Museum just last month. Models Alice McGrath, Diane Tassigny, Ena Poppe, Nayonikaa Shetty and Ying Ouyang were called upon for the occasion, who pose throughout Schorr’s series of portraits, paying homage to screen legend Marlene Dietrich.

“Always the same boring concept,” immediately called out forum member matheus_s.

“Admittedly, this isn’t the worst Christian Dior advertising campaign I’ve come across during Maria Grazia Chiuri’s tenure. However, it’s all just so… insipid, lackluster and flat. The drama, theatrics and glamour needed to be turned ALL the way up for a collection inspired by Marlene Dietrich,” voiced vogue28.
