Cheers! Summer Cocktails for Every Occasion — and Skill Level

Already Had a Few

There comes a point during the party when you’re craving more cocktails but aren’t in the best condition to make them. My signature summer cocktail — vodka lemonade — can be dressed up if you’ve still got your wits about you, or concocted super simply if you don’t. It’s great with a citrus vodka like Smirnoff Sorbet Light Lemon Vodka, but you can use plain vodka too. Here’s two versions.

Fancy Vodka Lemonade (Makes one 2L pitcher)

  • One bag of lemons — about 9
  • One cup of water
  • One cup of sugar
  • One Cup Smirnoff Sorbet Light Lemon Vodka
  • Mint leaves (optional)
  1. Squeeze the lemons (yes, I do this by hand) until you have one cup of lemon juice.
  2. Boil the cup of water and stir in sugar until dissolved, creating simple syrup.
  3. Muddle mint leaves in the bottom of the pitcher, add other ingredients and fill pitcher with water.
  4. When pouring into glasses add a lemon slice and a few fresh mint leaves for garnish. So refreshing! Barely tastes alcoholic so watch your consumption.

Lazy Vodka Lemonade

  • Half a gallon of lemonade
  • One Cup Smirnoff Sorbet Light Lemon Vodka

Mix. Give your sober friend your keys.
