Another one for those whose tastes run towards the hardcore, this is a metal-tastic rendition of Tchaikovsky’s “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” from “The Nutcracker Suite.” They really should have retitled this — which sounds better? Mosh Pit of the Sugar Plum Fairy or Slam Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy? While their sound may not be traditional, this comes from a more likely source than you might imagine, August Burns Red is a Christian metalcore band on a pretty decent label called Solid State. The song is off “August Burns Red Presents: Sleddin’ Hill, A Holiday Album.”
