The retailer’s latest ad features decades-old photographs of CEO’s Dov Charney‘s photo darkroom as an eleven-year-old. Coming from a label that regularly defends its choices of exposed pubic hair and pretzel poses in ad campaigns, this new image is decidedly unprovocative and seems to mark the label’s attempt to shift its brand image.
