Tom Ford Says Gay Men Make Better Designers; Justin Bieber Covers Love Mag

Last week’s much talked-about preview of Love‘s Androgyny cover, featuring a kiss between Kate Moss & Lea T., promised a second cover: Justin Bieber photographed by Terry Richardson, and the just-released image is boringboringboring. The closely-cropped straight shot does highlight some of Bieber’s feminine features, but the bite-sized pop star still looks just like a little boy. Check it out for yourself. [StyleBistro]

In more magazine cover news: Gisele Bundchen will be the face on the front of April’s Paris Vogue, Emmanuelle Alt‘s first issue as editor in chief. ‘Supermodel’ isn’t a strong enough word to describe Gisele: the SuperUberMegaModel is incapable of screwing things up. The cover might not be boring or bad, but I wish we didn’t know that it was going to be less than okay. [FashionEtc]

Last night’s episode of Gossip Girl was followed up by a bit of fashion news: GG actress Taylor Momsen will be replaced by Kelly Osbourne as the face of Madonna‘s Material Girl line. Kudos to Osbourne for her style-concious stepback from her former goth slob persona, but this seems like a bad fit: Osbourne is well above the target age range for Madonna’s line, and even though Momsen is a train-wreck, she’s more charismatic and compelling in photos and in interviews than perennially lackluster Osbourne.
