In a Tribute to Isabella Blow, McQueen Once Felt Up Lady Gaga; Happy NYFW!

Lady Gaga Vogue SpreadIn the March issue of Vogue, Lady Gaga says that at the start of her career, she was readily accepted by the fashion industry because her look was reminiscent of editor and icon Isabella Blow. The megastar remembers that the resemblance once led Alexander McQueen to grab her breasts and exclaim, "My God, your boobs! Even your boobs are like hers!" There are definite similarities between the two women (a fondness for avant-garde statement pieces, structured silhouettes, and a hyper-stylized, asexual kind of femininity), but Isabella Blow seems goofier and warmer than Lady Gaga; Isabella Blow always seemed to be laughing at herself a little, Lady Gaga seems to be laughing at us.
