At Home with the Hilfigers; Style Tips from Around the Web

Tommy’s “Hilfiger” family reunites at home for the holidays

Photographed by Craig McDean, this latest run of ads features models Noah Mills, Iselin Steiro, Jacquelyn Jablonski, André Douglas, Bernard Fouquet, Chloe Blackshire, Eric Fry Halperin, Gracie Carvalho, Heloise Guerin, Julia Hafström, Lea Sorensen, Luis Borges, Max Motta, Max Rogers, and Sam Way.

The Hilfiger household may be overcrowded, but as far as fashion fantasies are concerned, this is one that I buy into: the Hilfigers seem warm and goofy, down-to-earth but still chic. They own two long-eared beagles and color-coordinate their outfits, so you know they’re in sync and just really get each other. The kid on the staircase (below) seems like he’d be a nuisance, but every family has at least one nuisance, so I don’t think I’d let it spoil my fun. And it goes without saying that they’re all ridiculously good looking and so great at posing for family photos. [WWD]

Even if you’re a fashion plate, there’ll be some trends you won’t want to try. Case in point? Jessie J’s lip tattoo (left), which might not be permanent, but it’s still a fashion risk I wouldn’t take. But if you’re looking for an opportunity to give your lips a lipstick break, these adhesive lip tattoos are available for $14.95 for a set of three and might come in handy when Halloween rolls around in a few months. Did you know that oatmeal was a great quick-fix for oily hair, a blast of cold water in the shower will get your hair shiny when it dries, and that mayo makes a great hair mask? Strange but true.
