We caught up with designer Miguelina Gambaccini at the Ford Beauty Suite at the Gramercy Park Hotel yesterday. While getting prepped for Fashion’s Night Out, she filled us in on her upcoming collection, her fabulous jewelry, and played our New York Fashion Week game of “would you rather…”
On her Spring 2012 collection: Currently finishing up the collection in anticipation of her October presentation, the new line is inspired by her trips from this past year, including Israel. “There’s a little bit of French influence, mixed with Middle East, mixed with country club,” she said, giving it a jet-set feeling, just like “the Miguelina girl”. Look for white, sun-kissed red, and apple green colors.
On her fashion week plans: Miguelina plans to attend a few shows including her friend Erin Fetherston’s presentaion.
On the chic jewelry she’s wearing: Ring is from friends Anndra Neen, a design duo hailing from Mexico City, and her bracelets are from Citrine by the Stones.
