Victoria Beckham Spring 2013 Runway Review

Victoria Beckham has said that years of being photographed have taught her the importance of garments looking good from every angle and it's clear she has taken that to heart with her label. Showing yet another stellar collection, this season Beckham added new silhouettes. In addition to the fitted over-the-knee dresses she has already proven she can perfect, she introduced some longer and looser ones as well as some shorter tennis-like skirts. The lineup was clean, streamlined, and modern and, in an interesting twist, Beckham opted to have her models wear Manolo Blahnik flats instead of the sky-high heels she is best known for.

A number of garments came belted and styled with Stephen Jones hats for a casual rocker twist and the designer showed off her knack for proportions with slim trousers paired with bra tops. Lingerie, in fact, played a key role this season with delicate fabrics layered over undergarments in some looks and lace fabrics exposing various parts of the body in others, both of which made for Helmut Newton/Fifty Shades of Grey-like twists.
