Mulberry Spring 2013 Runway Review

Creative director Emma Hill described the collection as a “blend of Mulberry’s English country heritage with a sorbet summer palette,” so it’s little surprise that the collection featured a rainbow of pastels alongside some neutrals and seasonal prints.

Silhouettes came in both structured and relaxed iterations and leather was particularly prominently featured making for a slew of fantastic pieces including wide leg trousers and cropped leather 3/4 sleeve jackets.

Accessories are always central to a Mulberry collection and this season, alongside bestsellers like the Del Rey and the Alexa, the Willow collection was launched, which featured a structured tote with a zip-detached envelope clutch on the front — the epitome of chic practicality.
