Giorgio Armani Spring 2013 Runway Review

It appears that Giorgio Armani was not feeling a spring color palette this season given that he showed a collection that stuck more or less exclusively to pearly light gray, dark blue, and black. Nevertheless, given that he opted to show countless lightweight silk separates, there was an underlying airiness to the collection, especially given the relaxed cuts. Loose silhouettes pervaded the collection, which consisted mostly of wide ankle-length trousers — even eveningwear included dresses worn over pants — before finishing with highly embellished crystal gowns.

Nothing like sparkling crystal against dark blue fabrics to leave you longing for a romantic sunset night on the town.
