Fendi Spring 2013 Runway Review

The Milan shows have been cast into the shadow over the past few seasons with just a few standout shows garnering widespread praise but this season, the designers showing in the Italian capital have sought to reclaim their former status and with the help of Fendi, they just might succeed. With larger fashion houses, the show isn't as make-it-or-break-it as it is for younger emerging talent. This means that they can either ride the wave of the brand's already established success or do as Fendi did and work to make us love them even more. With geometric shapes, bold framed silhouettes, and a healthy dose of fur, Karl Lagerfeld not only impressed this season but showed a collection that just might be the breath of fresh air the brand needs to get in the good graces of the younger generation of luxury buyers.
