Rodarte Fall 2013 Runway Review

This season's Rodarte collection suffered dramatically from unfortunate styling, relegating many of the pieces to looking unwearable. Chief among them were goth-tinged layered black looks, which appeared heavy with their mix of textures and fabric; that these pieces were paired with flats worn with skin-toned socks embellished with tattoo-inspired art (by Scott Campbell) didn't help matters.

More success was found in the series of sculpted tie-dye dresses, patterned blanket coats and cut-out tiered cocktail dresses, all of which could be easily imagined on the likes of Chloe Sevigny.
