Scottish tartans and kilts aren't traditionally thought of as particularly fashionable — especially when they're embroidered with crests (in this case an "M" one) — but with Rossella Jardini's Italian spin, three-piece suits, fitted coats, mini kilt and structured tops all done in classic tartan prints made for great statement pieces (just don't wear more than one at a time!). It wasn't all tartans, however. Jardini was inspired by Ann Bonfoey Taylor's love for skiing and horseback riding, which tied into the season's peplums, riding hats, riding jackets and the designer's high heel take on hiking boots.
