Emilio Pucci Fall 2013 Runway Review

Unapologetically sexy, Peter Dundas' Pucci girl is so confident she can pull off to-die-for thigh-high boots, fur and short skirts and dresses — and it doesn't reek of trashiness. In fact, it wouldn't be surprising if the designer's thigh-high boots were not only an It item come fall but ushered in a trend of wearing tigh-high boots instead of stockings (hey, it could happen when they're this beautifully crafted).

A key to this season's appeal is that for the first time in a number of seasons, the collection prominently featured the house's signature prints, which were mostly fashioned into minis and belted dresses with a Seventies rocker vibe. Sheer paneled minis, babydolls, fringe bags, capes and lace embellished dresses rounded out the strong collection.
