Carol Kim and Humberto Leon may have been inspired by ancient Asian temples in India, Nepal and China for their Fall 2013 Kenzo collection, but there was nothing dated about it — little surprise given the designers' knack for knowing what will sell on a retail floor. Rich in opulent fabrics, the duo took their cue from the structured shapes of traditional Asian dress making for beautiful cinched-at-the-waist outerwear, wrap skirts, jacquard trousers and suit sets.
