Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 Runway Review

Marc Jacobs has ditched his kilts in favor of a pajama moment. In fact, not only did the designer take his bow at this season's Louis Vuitton show wearing pajamas, but he included a slew of them in his boudoir-inspired collection.

Satin pajamas, robes, slip dresses, playsuits, bodysuits and high-waisted bloomers were all bountiful in the Fall 2013 lineup (including a sheer embroidered slip worn by Kate Moss), offering a more sophisticated version of the grunge look he pioneered years ago.

It wasn't all boudoir dressing, however, tweed suits, velvet dresses, below-the-knee pencil skirts, menswear-inspired outerwear and fur accessories all rounded out the collection, offering the woman not ready to leave her abode in satin and lace a more understated alternative.
