There has been much talk surrounding Nina Ricci designer Olivier Theyskens these days with many wondering whether the talented young Belgian designer will continue working as the French house’s artistic director.

Theyskens will remain on board at least until October when his contract expires, but the future remains up to negotiations. President of Ricci parent company Puig Fashion, Mario Grauso, has been quoted as saying that Theyskens will remain at the creative helm of the house at least through the expiration of his current contract in October and that at this point, they are very happy with his contribution. Adding “I look forward to seeing his next show, after which we’ll start the negotiations, which is typical.”
