News & Runway

One of fashion’s most exciting talents – Sophia Kokosalaki – whose showing last season during Paris Fashion Week packed in the crowds including a fashion star filled front row – is celebrating her decade in fashion. The designer has dressed celebrities aplenty including Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Keira Knightley, Lou Doillon, and Anne Hathaway and now British Vogue is reporting that the professional landmark for the designer will be celebrated by featuring ten of her most iconic designs at her Fall/Winter 2010 show during Paris Fashion Week. Each design featured in the runway show will be from one of F/W collections of a different season. The ten pieces will be recreated as limited edition pieces.

It is being reported that the pieces that were selected include the 1999 Diary Jacket which is hand embroidered with diary fragments, music lyrics and beat poetry extracts, the draped red jersey Warrior Dress from 2001, and the silk tulle Chinese Lantern Dress Kokosalaki originally made in 2007.
